In our hectic world, it’s easy to feel disconnected from our bodies and the present moment, leaving us overwhelmed by stress and uncertainty. Join us for a transformative, daylong retreat designed to reconnect you with your inner self through immersive meditative, relational, and somatic practices.
Throughout the day, you’ll explore techniques that blend Buddhist mindfulness, somatic meditation, and Somatic Experiencing® (SE) to regulate your nervous system while learning to shift out of the freeze response. You’ll also discover how to harness the energy of the fight response and healthy aggression to set clear boundaries, transition from rumination into decisive action, and remain grounded even in the midst of conflict.
Guided by mindful awareness and SE’s focus on nervous system resilience, you’ll cultivate your “felt sense”—an intuitive way to tune into your body’s sensations and emotions as reliable guides.
This retreat welcomes everyone, regardless of experience with meditation or body-based practices. Please bring a journal to capture your reflections and insights.
